It just doesn't have ANY hope of capturing any of the main series magic, even as someone who went in expecting to give it a LOT of leeway. As of right now, my summed up stance is "totally fine, didn't need to be made". Unless it takes a crazy turn, I will not be thinking of Magia Record by the end of next season, other than maybe giving it some technical nods at the end of the year depending on what we get between now and then. I have been hearing mixed things about Babylonia, though the defenders always seem to fall back on "the fights are really good". To which my thoughts are....the Ufo stuff has really good fights AND the rest of it is good, so... ... Copied to Clipboard! |
