The people she met there aren't rabid loyalists as a number of them recognize and dislike his behavior. But the end of the day they respect that he comes off as someone in their corner who'll fight for them as opposed to the other candidates. And while most people may hate Trump, the more glaring issue is what LightHawKnight said, there's no unity among the democrats.
