i do love south korean theories, yes. after Park in 2016, just about anything works and i'm amused that a cult is front and center, again, at the country's turmoil. i mean don't get me wrong, it's pretty shitty that a cult is the originating source for them and is also why it's spreading so quickly and expansively. it's just entertaining in a sort of "we're doing this shit again?" way. like i said in the post, the other two answers are a lot more normal and what i lean to anyway. the third is just wild but has all the right components, with the country operating on most of the idea anyway.

edit:
though i should be clear on the second one - the bioweapon theory - in that it's the accidental release of it by someone who got contaminated. it's similar to the vaccine idea, just different purposes and therefore different expectations of the virus and cures against it. the two are otherwise the same and run of the root of "coronavirus experimented on in lab, it got out."
