With Roy Williams retiring and Michael Crabtree traded, the Rams had a big need at WR and got a better one than they could get in free agency. The Giants had substantial cap issues. Moving on from Nance also allows them to start rookie Tyler Lockett. Matthews gives them a very capable backup HB, and Simmons is coming off of a rookie season where he had 1 sack, 1 FF, and 2 FRs. Fernandez is roster filler as this also plugs the final two holes on the Giants roster.
