I distinctly remember the first time this song played in the game and just putting my controller down so I could listen to it. The Man with the Machine Gun Another very good song! It's upbeat and quirky, which is befitting of the switch from Squall to Laguna as the viewpoint character in FFVIII. It almost feels like there should be a disco ball hanging above the battlefield whenever this song starts up! Man, FFVIII has such good battle themes. pyresword posted... I have always really liked this fan version of You're Not Alone so let's go with this. Oh hey, this is new to me! I'm impressed by the ability to find lyrics that fit the tune of the song and also fit the moment the song is about. Really pretty singing voice, too! It can't quite match up to the original, but as something a bit lighter and softer, it's really nice. DragonImps posted... VIIs standard battle theme Nice choice! I'm one of the weirdos who actually prefers FFVII's regular battle theme over the boss theme! It's just really catchy and mixes things up enough so you aren't just sick and tired of listening to it by the end of the game. I love the way the song crescendos right before starting over. That's easily my favorite part of the song. Obellisk posted... Fisherman's Horizon Definitely one of my favorite town themes in the series. It's just so smooth and relaxing, just like you'd expect for a town called Fisherman's Horizon. I can instantly imagine being there every time I hear this song. So good. Snake5555555555 posted... Final Fantasy XV - End of the Road Hmm...I like the ominous tension of this one, but I feel like it doesn't really go anywhere. I think you'd have to hear this one in context to really appreciate it, and I can't really recall where this one plays off the top of my head! MartinFF7 posted... Huh, I'm...not sure what to make of it! As far as the remix of the main tune, I kinda dig it, but at the same time, I don't really like all the weird sound and vocal effects they throw in. Also, I have to confess that I thought you said it was a Force Your Way remix, so I was very confused as to why I wasn't hearing it until I recognized the tune for Find Your Way in there! Whoops! Final Fantasy VII - Fighting Final Fantasy VIII - The Man with the Machine Gun 7 There aint no gettin offa this train we on! Final Fantasy IX - You're Not Alone (performed by Erutan) 6 Im a general, not some opera floozy! 5 This is far from the strongest of swords! Final Fantasy XV - End of the Road 4 Too weak to stand, and still as arrogant as could be. 3 Being able to die is a great gift?
