Not my full bugout bag, but this is my EDC/get home bag. I'm not dumping it all out now for show and tell. It's not enough to camp, but it's got answers to a lot of dilemmas inside. There's just enough room in it to cram a hammock and tarp or a cook kit if I have to go right now, or can anticipate a shtf scenario. It's light on survival and first aid, heavy on lighting, hygeine, power, fire, and tools.

There is a loaded bugout bag in the hall closet with enough gear to set up camp for a week or 2. Only emergency food and water purification, but enough gear to fish, or trap if it gets really bad.

Most of my kits have redundancy because 2 is 1, 1 is none, but none of them are full Nesmuk loadouts or anything. The idea of charging out into the wild during a real crisis with a full I.N.C.H. loadout with 50lbs of gear on my back seems like a good way to get robbed when shit gets truly crazy.

The EDC bag is under 10lbs with my normal setup, the full bugout is about 28 pounds, I'd like to get that closer to 20. I'm working on it. I'd rather get to my bugout spot quickly and then assess the situation with basics than drag gear I won't end up needing through who knows what.
