Mass Effect 2 VS Resident Evil 7 Biohazard

RE 7 got shafted. It has power and it could beat some of the game on this contest but it got the lowest seed possible so there you go. ME 2 got so much praise when it came out and it is considered the best game of all 4. Yeah I am including the 4th one too! RE 7 went for a reboot since RE 6 had the lowest ratings for a main RE game. So we had 1st person perspective and a new main character too. But I have to confess something. Even though I am a huge RE fan I didn't liked RE 7. Yeah I know, but still. I even liked RE 6 because playing with a friend was a blast. But never the less RE 7 got really high praise and it did well in sales. Not as good sales as Capcom wanted but hey. I don't know what the rest of the fanbase things about it, but as I said I just didn't liked it.

So for the match. I believe RE 7 did good here. But well a 1 seed going against a 16 seed what do you expect? I believe only 1 time a 16 seed won in all contests that have happened on this site and that was 16 years ago. Still ME 2 did as expected so I guess all are good? Eh we shall see. Oh first match on this contest that I have played BOTH games!

Fallout 4 VS VVVVVV

Fallout 4 won with 71.72% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 86.92%

So we have an indie game with the strangest title on this contest. I don't play Indie games so I don't know anything about it. Sorry about that. The info on this site says it came out 10 years ago(!)and as a lot of indie games is a Retro 2D platformer. Fallout 4 doesn't need introductions. However from the main 3 single player Fallout games that have come out since 2008 it is the worst one and the least liked by the fanbase. It brought voice acting for the main character and most hated it. Including me. Yeah the main character talking was a bad thing! Also the Fallout series has become somewhat of a joke after Fallout 76 came out. It is WORSE than you think. Yeah worse than that! So my opinion on Fallout 4? Not as bad as people say. Plus it has the best expansion on the series, which is Far Harbor. That area is awesome!

So for the match. Strangely enough Fallout 4 did better than predicted. So I guess that VVVVV is really weak. Makes sense. I mean very few indies have staying power and we are talking about an indie game from 10 years ago. I don't even understand how this game got in, while other famous indie games like Fez and Doki Doki Literature Club! didn't managed to sneak in which are more beloved and famous. Strange.

Borderlands 2 VS Bloodstained Ritual

Borderlands 2 won with 59.1% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 79.69%

So we have the weakest GOTY winner from the previous decade on this site vs a spiritual successor to the Castlevania series. Yeah B2 had won GOTY here. Amazing eh? But then again once a Call Of Duty game won GOTY here. You heard me right. I don't know how myself too. B2 made popular the looter shooter genre. It is an amazing game and even better with friends. Do you know they released a DLC expansion for it 7 years after it came out? Yeah.

So for the match. The crew actually gave it lower win percentage(okay except Guest)and I don't know why. Sure we have a spiritual successor to Castlevania which is so popular that it coined the term Metroidvania but the Castlevania series is dead. The last game came out 6 years ago. Nobody cares anymore. Oh wait we have a pachinko Castlevania so all are fine I guess. Everyone knows the Borderlands series. The last game came out in the previous year. So name recognition for sure. I didn't know about BR since I don't play Indie games and I have to look it up. But Bordelands series? Too famous now. However B2 didn't even managed to break 60% which I say it is a moral victory for BR. BR is a good game from what I have gathered at least.

Horizon Zero Dawn VS Fortnite

Horizon Zero Dawn won with 80.93% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 56.11%

So we have HZD vs a game that is the most popular in the world and it is a battle FPS royale. So that means in this site it loses to every other game! In every other site except Gamefaqs Fortnite would dominate since as I said EVERYONE and their dancing grandmas knows about it. Millions play it EVERY day. HZD I have played it and it is an excellent game with a unique premise too(robot dinosaurs!oh and other robot animals too)but it works.

So for the match. Someone(can someone remind me who exactly to write it?)tracks on polls the age ratings(why?)and currently around 5% of the people that come on Gamefaqs is under 20 years old. And Fortnite dominates on people under 20. So it never stood a chance. Of course with a rally it could do it, but as I said above nobody cares for this site anymore. Sure a few years ago people wanted to make fun of us but now? Most people don't know that this site still exists. Oh and even though the Crew gave high win percentages for HZD it won even higher than they predicted! So yeah Fortnite is damn weak here. However if you see the correct prediction percentage a lot of people went with Fortnite. Guess name recognition or hope for a rally? Come on people no outsider cares for this stuff anymore.
