So how a game from 1998 went into this contest? Simple. It is not RE 2 from 1998, it is RE 2 from 2019! In all seriousness though I don't understand how RE 2 got in. I thought no remakes and remasters? Otherwise we would have OOT or FFX or stuff like that? Guess since it is actually a new game which just keep the general story from
the original RE2 and changes all other stuff it if fair game. Just like how FF7 remake will be eligible for the next GOTD contest(if we are alive by then). RE2 remake got amazing reviews and won numerous GOTY awards. As a person who played the original RE 2 back then when it first came out I have to say the remake is excellent too.
I just prefer SLIGHTLY the original RE2 but that is a personal opinion. As for Danganronpa 2...Sorry don't know anything. It is apparently a visual novel?

So for the match. Well what do you expected? Even if you don't know anything about the contests here pretty sure you knew what game would win. And as always the crew overstimates the power of such strange games. They all went under 80%(except one person)and RE2 scored even higher than he predicted. See here is the thing. People just don't care about these strange obscure games ESPECIALLY if they are visual novels. Only Ace Attorney is somewhat decent here and that is not by much. I know that the D series has its fans since the games keep coming out but you know what I mean.

DOOM VS INSIDE

DOOM won with 86.06% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 92.96%

BATTLE OF CAPS LOCKS! So we have a game from 1993 here? Huh. Well what I said above for RE2 applies for DOOM too. See Doom was SO popular when it came out that every other FPS for a time was called Doom clone. Yeah it was that popular! Even though it wasn't the first FPS it sure as Hell popularized the genre. Also it got a bad reputation at 1999 for a famous incident at USA. I don't say what it is, just search for it. Videogames are bad and cause violence right? We still have this thing. As for INSIDE...you guess it, I don't know anything about it! Man what is this contest and me not playing the games? Seriously I don't understand how so many low key games got in.

So for the match. Well it was a slaughter. Highest win so far in the contest. Move over BOTW! Also correct me if I am wrong but that is the highest correct prediction percentage for a 6 seed ever too. Seriously not even 1 seeds get so much high correct prediction percentage on their first match! Also the crew went really low with the win percentage. On average they went with 70% and it score over 86%! So yeah pretty sure they were suprised too. So why DOOM did so well? Because INSIDE is damn weak AND the sequel of DOOM released a few days before we had this match. Now that it wouldn't win of course. Name recognision for sure too. I mean everyone and their Demon Grandmas knows about Doom franchise. Oh Doom had 2 films too. A bad one and a real bad one.

Fire Emblem Awakening VS Deus Ex Human Revolution

Fire Emblem Awakening won with 62.76% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 75.04%

So finally another match where I have played both games! Now we are talking! We have 2 games that revived their franchises too. Word from Nintendo was that if FEA didn't sold as much as they expected they would stop the FE series! Yeah as much the old fans whine FE never did good in sales. Fortunately FEA sold more than 5 times what they expected and the series is doing damn well now. I mean they have a gatcha game which has brought more than 800.000.000 dollars so far and they recently added a monthly pass for it which costs around 10 dollars per month. 10 dollars per month for a phone game and people bought it. All are lost. DEHR did well too both financially and critically but SE messed all that up with the sequel because of the damn microtransactions. They added a sequel hook campaign and added an extra mode which nobody asked for that was full of microtransactions. Plus the whole stupid thing with pre orders. And the game didn't sold well and the future of the series is uncertain.

So for the match. Well FE series is Huge now and it wouldn't lose to DE. Strangely enough though it did slightly worse than expected. Still above 60% but lower than 65%. Guess DE has some power or something like that. I have to say though that both games did well. Both RPGS too but vastly different. Still bad seeding for DE. It could
beat a few games here for sure.

Bloodborne VS Call Of Duty Black Ops

Bloodborne won with 80.53% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 76.01%

Who keeps nominating COD games/characters? Seriously people. We are old on this site. Old people don't play these kind of games! I haven't played any of these games but I know them well. COD is a FPS that comes out every year, it is the same game and it always breaks record sales. Bloodborne is an exclusive to PS and I didn't know that. It is one of these get good games, meaning you have to be really good to advance because the game is damn hard.

So for the match. Another slaughter. I know we had a COD GOTY here a lot of years ago(seriously even now nobody can explain it)but man. Once again the crew got low win percentage here. And to tell the truth I don't think anybody expecting this high percentage for Bloodborne. In any other site pretty sure COD wins easily. But not here. So there you go. COD is damn weak and it would lose to almost any other game here. Now if we had Fortnite VS COD... I would like to see that match!
