I'm guessing it's another case of spite towards its popularity exceeding its actual popularity. Basically, the voting base in gamefaqs is fairly old 30+ somethings, so if a game isn't a franchise started in the 90s it won't do super great here. Not to mention people are at the age where they'll antivote things that are popular with kids. Also, measures were taken to keep outside sources from rallying in the current contest, so it works as both a reduction of non-gamefaqs votes and a deterrent for people going outside for rally votes --- wird ...
