The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt VS Assassin's Creed Odyssey

The W3 is one of 2 games that can reach the finals, with the other beeing Skyrim. At least that is what we thought before the contest started. As for AC series you all know the series. This series had a game coming out every year but each game getting lower and lower sales so Ubisoft decided to stop making them for a while. So they decide to
soft reboot the series with Origins and make them MUCH more combat oriented AND heavy loot based. Bassically they became action rpg's. With levels and all. I mean the previous games had combat and loot too but they never really matter. I mean you could just sneak around and kill everyone with 1 hit anyways. You can't really do that now
though. As for the W3...Okay it is a game that basically every other open world action RPG compares it to see how it stands out to it. Yeah it is that good. It made the Witcher series REALLY popular and now everyone and their Magician Grandma knows it. I mean we even got a Witcher Netflix series and it was ACTUALLY good! And damn popular too! So yeah the Witcher series is everywhere now.

So for the match. Well we have 2 action rpg open world games and of course the much popular one won. But it didn't simply won, it scored way too high. I didn't even expected to score above 77% myself and it scored more than 84%! Also the W3 is one of my favorite games of all time. BUT in this match I voted for ACO. Why? It takes place in Greece which is my country and barely any game take place there so I had to support it. I mean it was amazing to visit cities and landmarks that I recognize and have visited. For Americans that doesn't mean much since a lot of games take place in USA but it is different for me. So anyways W3 is DAMN popular now. I do believe thought that ACO could beat some indie games here. Which isn't saying much but hey.

Mass Effect 3 VS Starcraft 2 Winds Of Liberty

Mass Effect 3 won with 60.63% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 63.67%

So we have 2 games that I want to say some things about. ME3 was amazing for me. The first multiplayer game that I played online a LOT and made some friends and we played together and man it was amazing. I now can see why people like online games and playing with friends. The single story was amazing too. BUT. But! The ending of ME 3. Oh man. Now I know that it was impossible to put all our choices on an ending that most would like. I get that. But man when people finished the game and saw the ending...Okay I haven't seen more anger against a company. It was chaos. NOBODY was happy with the ending. Things were so bad that some people made a class action lawsuit against Bioware (or considering to do it, I can't quite figure it out). The point is that everyone was angry so Bioware made a DLC ending that was free. Yeah they tried to made a better ending due to angering fans! It made things much better at least, but of course a lot of people were still angry. So yeah. ME3 is known for this thing unfortunately. As for S2...the first S game was big. Really big. Like BIG! Especially in Korea. It started getting tournaments in 2002 and man people that were taking part in these tournaments were celebrities. And not like the bad thing, the one that everyone respects and recognizes them. I mean the tournaments were on TV and there were HUGE crowds even so many years ago! I don't know why it happend but it did. As for S2...well it is popular but it came in 2010 which is more than 12 years after the first. So yeah. Also S1 was the ONLY 16 seed EVER in ALL contests that managed to beat a 1 seed in its very first match. We haven't seen this more than one time and we shall never seen it again because the seeding is much better and no rallies too.

So for the match. Well ME3 would never lose since as I said S2 isnt' as popular as S1 plus we don't really core for exlusive PC games on this site anymore. Strange thing is that ME3 did better than predicted. People thought that even 57 would be high and it broke 60. So yeah. We don't care for PC games anymore as I said.

Stardew Valley VS Destiny

Stardew Valley won with 71.17% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 67.34%

So we have another indie game here. But this indie game has one of the biggest communities ever. The game is just a slice of life game. So many things to do and there are like a million mods for it. It is basically like an animal crossing game. Meaning there isn't a single goal or a big bad or something. You just play, relax, and have fun.
And do things at your own pace too. So really good game and so many people like it. On the other hand we have Destiny. Seriously. Who keeps nominating Destiny and its characters? Yeah we had a Destiny character on the previous Characters Contest too. So nothing bad nominating characters and games you like BUT even the people that play Destiny don't like like it much! At least when it first came out. So yeah who exactly nominated it? Was it a trollish attempt or something? I just don't get it.

So for the match. Well we have an indie game that is beloved against a game that almost nobody likes. So what did you expected? SV dominated. So people stop nominating bad games/ characters. At least the other games we have seen so far had something going on for them. Destiny has nothing. Let it go.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 VS Return Of The Obra Dinn

Super Mario Galaxy 2 won with 87.25% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 94.16%

So here is the thing. SMG2 lost on the previous game contest against ME? I don't believe it. I thought people were made a mistake but no, it is actually true. I don't understand why. Sure ME was more popular back then but the SMG games are so popular with fans and critics. They both have 97% on Metacritic which is amazing for 2 games
of the same series. As for ROTOD...It is an indie game and once again I do wonder how it got in, while other games like Pokemon Go didn't.

So for the match. Slaugther of course. Remember when I said that Skyrim of Witcher 3 would reach the final match? After this performance SMG 2 is a contender too. I mean we all knew that it would win
but this high? Highest win of the contest too! Yeah it dominated. I know that ROTOD is damn weak but still this is amazing performance. Well we shall see I guess.
