This show has the rare quality of an plot based dramedy where by the end the first episode my prevailing thought was "I absolutely HAVE to see this through". The lead is super fun, and even without any attachment to the genre it's pushing against I didn't have any problem getting into it. Yesterday - the Doga Kobo gamble. Stands out a lot in the current anime climate, feels like something from the past in a good way, which technically it is. While not the best as an actual episode compared to some others this season, it's the one that has me the most invested from a story standpoint. I could see myself reading ahead in the manga depending on how the plot goes. BNA - Netflix jail, doesn't count. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
