Topic | Are there any good Anthology movies? (feature length) |
Zeus 04/06/20 10:36:21 PM #21: | Yes. Well.... kinda. There are a lot with a few good segments, but one with only good segments is rare. A Christmas Horror Story was good overall (and notably jumps between stories). I was also always a fan of The House that Dripped Blood and many of the other Amicus anthologies (which tend to be on the campier side; the company did what I believe was the first adaptation of Tales from the Crypt). I can't recall any anthologies that could be described as award-winning, though. Lokarin posted... Don't think A.I. counts, but it might... maybe Uh, what? ScritchOwl posted... Holidays I'll give the others a pass, but Holidays was garbage and I'm not just saying that because Kevin Smith squandered what should have been the best segment, although that certainly didn't help. Pus_N_Pecans posted... Fantasia Classics. --- (\/)(\/)|-| There are precious few at ease / With moral ambiguities / So we act as though they don't exist. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
