Persona 5 VS Heavy Rain

Persona is damn popular here even though their characters do damn bad in these contests. Actually the P games do bad though. All P games do extremely well with critics and fans but not that good in sales. But Persona 5 changed this. It did damn well in sales, it broke records actually. Plus Joker got even in Smash as a main character! Damn! Also the Persona 5 cast appears in many spin off games. Strange but yeah. In fact a Persona Warriors spin off will come out sooon. I shall buy it since I am a huge Warriors fan and a Persona fan too. As for the HR game it is like an adventure/visual novel kinda style game? Look it is strange. It is known nowadays for the memes though. Hey at least it is widely known unlike some games in this contest.

So for the match. Well P5 won easily. I mean as I said HR is known even though for wrong reasons but still. P4 did really good a few days ago too. P5 did 0.5% better than P4 too! So nothing else to say. P series off to a good start.

Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag VS Sid Meier's Civilization 5

Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag won with 56.44% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 63.47%

So AC 4 is considered the best of the old AC games, before Ubisoft soft rebooted the series. As a fan of the AC series that have played all games I can see why. It made pirates damn cool and the whole ship combat mechanic was expanded so much from AC 3 that almost all AC games have it and it is super fun to defeat all other ships and
collect loot and upgrades. Serious fun here. As for the CIV series CIV 4 is actually my most played game of all time. Yeah for real. I still play it occassionaly because the fans have made so many mods that I have lost count. Amazing game. But I haven't even touched CIV 5 and CIV 6. Okay I played a bit of CIV 5 but I just can't get into it
because when you have played CIV 4 for thousand of hours you can't just change. However the CIV series is considered the best turn based strategy series too. And yeah all games are amazing even though I play only 1 of them. But man the CIV games are damn weak here.

So for the match. Even though there was some fear that AC would lose, I never thought of that. Sure the series sucks now on this site but the CIV games are extremely weak here. We saw that ACO got demolished by Witcher 3 but Witcher 3 can even reach the final match. It is a damn strong game. AC series was popular on this site back then on the AC 2 era and its direct sequels but after that we abandoned it. Still at least it got a win which is more that I can say for a lot of franchises here.

Sonic Mania VS YS 8

Sonic Mania won with 62.74% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 77.32%

A Sonic game finally! I thought the last good Sonic game was back in the 90's? Or not. Still nice to have at least 1 Sonic game here. I have played only the Sonic games back on Mega Drive so I don't know anything about them after that, but I do know that almost all of them suck. As for YS...it is a JRPG but I haven't heard of the series
and I find it strange because apparently there are at least 8 of them? Damn! They must have a lot of fans! Or at least I think so? Well they made so many of them so someone has to be bying them!

So for the match. This match was never in doubt but Sonic managed to dissapoint! Classic Sonic. I mean people thought that even a doubling would be bad for Sonic Mania and it scored even lower than that! So yeah. People just don't care for the Sonic games I guess.

Super Meat Boy VS Slay The Spire

Super Meat Boy won with 68.96% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 80.35%

So we have the Guru pick here and it won a match! Believe me that is a rare feat. SMB is one of these get good games. Strange how many are in this contest. People are hardcore it seems! STS I didn't knew it all and I saw a review for it by accident and man it is amazing! Yah a card game but not the 1vs1 and stuff like that. No you go to dungeons, make your deck, random battles, random loot, stuff like that. It is a sort game but you are meant to play it many games and get items/characters/loot/cards, all the good stuff.

So for the match. Well SMB won. STS is really good but since it is still new it doesn 't really have a dedicated fanbase like the SMB game. So once again congrats to the Guru pick!
