| Mac Arrowny 04/07/20 11:50:20 PM #33: | Couple more shows finished. Welcome to Demon School, Iruma was mostly pretty good. It was good when it was focusing on humor, and not so good when it was trying to be serious. The arc with the guy trying to blow up the school was bad. The idol stuff near the end was dumb too. Other than that, funny and good. Also finished Somali and the Forest Spirit. I wish I liked this more, but it kinda felt like it was missing something. The stuff about the conflict between humans and other creatures got pretty tiresome pretty quickly, and I would've liked more powerful emotional stuff that worked. Uzoi and Haitora's story was probably the highlight I think. I did like it overall - the relationships between the characters were good, Somali and Golem were both fun characters, the comedy worked, and the emotion of it was solid in general. But it's similar to some shows I loved, so it's a shame it wasn't just a little better. --- All the stars in the sky are waiting for you. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
