Yeah, EI applications are automatically being transferred to CERB. CERB is a more streamlined process that should actually get money to people in a timely fashion, since the usual EI process was hopelessly underequipped to handle the massive volume of applications this has brought on. Given that it just launched two days ago, she'll probably still have a bit of a wait, but hopefully it should come soon. zebatov posted... Also, if anyone is wondering, this is basically EI without the taxes afaik. It is taxable. Part of the application includes indicating your tax status. If you really need it, odds are you won't be paying much by way of taxes on it, but do be sure to keep some of it earmarked to pay back when tax season rolls around next year. --- This is my signature.
