Dark Souls is the Dark Souls of videogames! Okay I jest. But DS when it came out it made the get good meme famous. It is a hard game. Like real hard. You know one of these games that apparently people now don't care because they have the gatcha games/MMO's/Casual games? Yeah things don't work like this. People always want something different. Sure hard games like DS aren't for everyone but for people that like stuff like that it is excellent. Plus we all know some challenge in our games right? Well these games offer a LOT of challenge and that is a good thing. Plus after the great success of DS so many clones followed. As for HM...another indie game that I don't know anything about it. Yeah sorry once again. I do believe it is fairly popular and a lot of copycats followed it though.

So for the match. Obviously DS trashed HM easily. Duh. The only real question is how much would score. And I do believe it scored excellent. I mean almost 83% is amazing no matter what game does that against what game. Also I do believe from the 3 DS games the first one is considered the best strangely enough. Well that is.

Rocket League VS Dragon Ball Figther Z

Rocket League won with 51.66% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 61.29%

Now we had the first real match of the contest. This match was pretty close for around 7 hours with lead changed and all that! Just like a real contest! In this match Gurus were split on which game would win as the Crew too. And it makes sense. Both games are really weak. RL has Football which americans don't care about and DBZ is a fighthing game which this site doesn't care about. Plus no info in either on these games too. I went with DBZ myself because of name recognition. But I was wrong.

So for the match. As I said it was realy close for like 7 hours and then RL just passed ahead and never looked back. So why it won? Well I do believe that it is more popular because actually it is a really fun game. It is about Football true BUT you have CARS playing Football! Yeah you use them to ram the ball, you can jump in the air and do a lot of tricks too. Plus you don't really have to know the rules, just ram the ball! As for DBZ it is one of countless DB fighthing games, nothing special. Still we got a good match for like 7 hours at least.

Yakuza 0 VS The Witness

Yakuza 0 won with 77.39% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 85.87%

Man the Yakuza series. It is my favorite franchise of the 7th and 8th generation. The series is excellent. It follows the story of Kiryu which is an Ex Yakuza and tries to live a normal life but he just can't. He gets always pulled back in the Yakuza world. These games are mainly played for the story. The story is always good in these games.
Of course they always have a TON of twists and you don't even know who the Big Bad at least like the final chapter and Kiryu always goes What? when he finds out. And there is always a guy that you beat him by punching him really hard then in a cutscene he pulls a gun and someone dies but never one of the main characters. It is a Yakuza
tradition by now! Still it is awesome. There are 7 main games in the series that follow Kiryu. I was lucky to play the games in chronological order, meaning I started from Yakuza 0 and went up from there. Also these games(except Yakuza 0 which is a prequel)take place always in the year they come out. For example Y1 came out in 2005 and the story takes place in 2005, Y2 came out in 2006 and the story takes place in 2006 and so on. So you see these characters getting old and stuff like that. Now this series was always niche, meaning it did okay sales but it was never popular. Sega released Yakuza 0 in 2015 which is a prequel and it is the best place to start too since you learn about the characters. And man Y0 is the best game of the series. Having played all of them(except Y6)I agree too. Just play Y0. So what exactly are these games? They are like Brawler games, meaning you go around and punch dudes in the face. Also the world is small, like 1 area of a city and it sounds that it is small BUT there are always a TON of stuff to do. And so many minigames. I haven't seen another game that offers so many minigames which you just can ignore all of them if you want and no problem. But no, you just want to play them because they are so good. I mean I played Pool and Baseball which otherwise I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole. But not here! Yeah I raved enough but this series is excellent. So that is. As for TW...I don't know anything about once again. It is kind of a puzzle interactive game?

So for the match. Okay Yakuza series is weak here but it wouldn't lose again such a game. The funny thing is that the Crew had Y0 win by less percentage than that. So it beat expecations easily. So was Y0 strong or TW weak? Okay hate to say it but TW is just extremely weak. Once again I do wonder how games like this got in.

Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain VS Dead Cells

Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain won with 72.51% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 86.9%

So MGS 5 is the last MGS game that the creator of the series worked before getting kicked out of the company. Now I don't know anything about MGS series but I do know they always have ridiculous stories and twists that can give the Kindom Hearts franchise a run for its money. DC is another indie game. It is fairly popular but that is.
The thing I don't understand is that 3 of the crew guys gave MGS 5 a 55% prediction percentage victory. Okay people seriously? I know you are experts but we are talking about MGS series here. You know a series that is HUGE here? Or at least it was. Even the strongest indie game here wouldn't beat it. At least I think so. I know that people were dissapointed with MGS 5 because I heard even the story wasn't finished or something but still.

So for the match. MGS 5 won easily. Well of course. DC may be fun and all but at the end it is just a metroidvania indie game and we have already hundreds of them since apparently it is the most popular genre to make games of. So did MGS 5 redeemed itself here? Hard to say. It did score a big victory against a well regarded indie game at least.
