Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver Version VS Night In The Woods

Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver Version won with 81.96% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 91.55%

So we have finally a Pokemon game! But it is a remade of the Gen 2 which came out in 1999. And even though we had 4 generations since 2010 the one from the 2nd generation got in even though it barely count since it came out in 2009 in Japan but later in other regions. As I guy who has played all main Pokemon games multiple times for me
the 2nd generation is the best. And I was so happy to see HG/SS with all the QOL upgrades. Gen 1 is special for everyone so it is above criticism and most pokemon fans agree that the 2nd generation is the best. On the other hand we have an indie game that I haven't heard anything about. Of course.

So for the match. Well HG/SS would win easily of course. The only thing that mattered was the final percentage. I do believe it did bettern than expectations since the average prediction was a bit lower than 80 so there you go. Well even though the latest Pokemon games seems to mess up the series since there are way too many complaints to count, they actually sold extremely well, they have sold more than 16 millions and the games are like 6 months old only. And this sales chart is old. So yeah people love their pokemons.

Celeste VS Rayman Legends

Rayman Legends won with 50.45% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 37.67%

Best match of Round 1! Yeah strange to say that, but it was. We had an indie game vs a non indie game. I don't know Celeste but it is a platform game with good story actually and people seem to like it. As for RL it is another platform game too so we have a fair match? Rayman was the mascot and the focus of Ubisoft before they became
big with the Assassin's Creed series and they shifted focus there. Oh and also Rayman gave us Rabbids! You know the characters that EVERYONE loves?

So for the match. As you can see the match was EXTREMELY close. Celeste was around 52.4 after the first 5 minutes and after 4 hours it was around 51.7. But no problem since it was winning in USA a lot. But it kept losing percentage and after about 13.5 hours RL got the lead. But then Celeste got it back. The games kept goint like that for a while and we had even a few ties. But then RL got the lead and we all say well USA is waking up and Celeste there wins by 53 so it would be over. But a curious thing happened. Even though the match ended and RL won Celeste's percentage in USA stayed at 53! So why this matters? Because most of the people that come on this site are Americans so the game/character that wins in USA wins the match. Sure we had a few cases where something won in USA and eventually lost the match but the percentage on USA was lower, like 51. Not 53 like here. I can't explain it. I guess RL won in the States that have the most people or something? Anyways very good match. Oh and also the whole Crew got the match wrong as most of the site it seems. And it made sense. Even though RL is from a series that most have heard, Ubisoft doesn't care for that anymore. So we all backed Celeste. Eh still at least we got a good match so that is fine.

Divinity Original Sin 2 VS Hearthstone Heroes Of Warcraft

Divinity Original Sin 2 won with 69.22% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 58.46%

Here we have DOS 2 which is maybe the best RPG that came out in the last 10 years. It is turn based and there are many customizations options, dialogue choices, combo moves, loot, so many stuff to do that seriously you can do anything. You hear that in many games but DOS 2 really does that. I do believe it is the only game that you can trully kill everyone on the map and still complete it. Sure you will lose most of the quests but the option is there. Just buy it if you like RPG's especially turn based ones. You can even change difficulty on the fly if you have problems plus there is a Magic Mirror on your base that you can change EVERYTHING for your characters except genders.
So no problems if you think you made a wrong build or something. Money is somewhat tough to find but you can steal from everyone with a dedicated thief build. Which you can change any time anyways! Plus we got the the Definite Edition which adds even more stuff and it is all for all consoles so you don't have any excuse to not play it. On the other hand we have Hearthstone which is a card game. Card games are slightly liked better than gatcha games on this site so there. HS had been in the previous game contest which got owned easily so I guess almost every game could beat it here.

So for the match. Well DOS 2 won easily. And it did really good. As I said we don't really play games like DOS 2 here which is a shame. Also forgot to mention something DOS 2 is an indie game! Okay mostly. The first game got made via Kickstarter. And also you do know how many microtransactions does DOS 2 has? Zero. Strange how the big companies say that the current model of making full games and selling them is unsustainable which a few years ago it was, you know, the NORMAL thing to do? But not anymore. Yeah money is good but make a good game at least first? Still nice win for DOS 2. The correct prediction percentage was kinda low too. I guess people went with the game that they have heard about?

NieR Automata VS Bayonetta 2

NieR Automata won with 68.41% of the total votes. Correct Prediction Percentage was 81.08%

You gotta feel sorry with the Bayonetta franchise here. Both games had so much bad seeding matches! If you could switch some seedings from the other divisions they both could win at least a match. As for the NieR franchise it got REALLY popular with the NieR Automata game. Before that barely anyone has heard of it because it is a spin off
from the Drakengard series which even fewer people have heard of it. So why this NA game did that good? I have played it and the gameplay isn't anything special. So why? Because the art and the story are really good. Sure you do control androids and you fight machines but they ask philosophical questions like what is human, what is an
android, what is a machine, does anything matter? I mean the main characters who are 3 of them know they are just advanced machines and their purpose is to die fighthing the machines and they know it they still have complicated personalities. Same with the machines. Sure most seem like the berserk type but there are others who just like to live in peace. But how are these things happening since all these things are just created, not born naturally? These things you do wonder along with the other characters. I mean others think only the missions, others want other stuff, other
