this is totally random but its bugged me for years and i might as well ask here.

i'm not natively american or from an english speaking country, so i might be missing something here and asking a very dumb question...

i can understand misspellings obviously, but in this case it's morphing the word into something completely different...that can't possibly be accidental right, and it can't be convenience either because the resulting misspelled word is longer than just "no". are people doing it on purpose?

i've specifically seen this done very often in common use sentences like "no way" or "no matter" (know way, know matter)
