As I mentioned in my write-up, the turn of the decade seemed like the last period of time people were willing to indulge in those sorts of modern-style shooters. This reminds me: I can't be the only one who feels like there's a smaller group of games that tend to dominate "Game of the Decade" discussions for the 2010s compared to the 2000s, right?
