Those guys are idiots anyways. They basically gave EA and Bioware Carte blanche to sell the ending of a game as DLC, because I doubt it's gonna be a free update.
Why would it be free? A new ending would have to be nearly 100% new content that was not originally planned to be in the game or accounted for in the original development costs. That's about as justified as you can get for charging for DLC.
