I truly cannot imagine anyone disliking this ending to be honest. Even if you hate the man Walter became you get the satisfaction of watching him die alone, and if you thought he was a badass he went out like one. The only reason I could see anyone not at least finding it satisfying is if you thought Walter deserved redemption and could be steered back toward his former life, in which case you're just wrong.
