It wasn't weird to go to the grade a in Shippan and see hulk, macho man, and rowdy grocery shopping on a Sunday. I had an apartment for a decade a block from their whq, and had a roommate that did graphic design for them that died in a motorcycle accident. I only realized that the first 2 or 3 seasons of Tough Enough was shot at the warehouses on Hamilton Ave because of a long shot from outside that had a friend's tag 8' tall on the side of a building in a shot that aired. I beat Miz in a game of 9 ball at a local pool hall back before anyone knew who he was... Vince has had a weird stranglehold on my hometown since before Transformers was airing.
