Started to watch Hamilton on D+, but kinda not on board with the presentation (which is a mix consisting of some live performance with an audience and a lot of closed-stage work, making things feel a little disjointed). Between that and the fact that I was watching a video about the history of Mary Poppins's creator and learned (or was reminded) that Saving Mr. Banks is a thing, I'm watching that instead now >_>

Perhaps. Now name one. Just one that doesn't already outrank a random Special Ops soldier or LA beat cop in the heirarchy of powers and abilities.

Batman? Wildcat? Rorschach? Any of a thousand other guys... oh right, we need Marvel. Well, Punisher for starters, considering he *was* a soldier and often depicted as Spec Ops.

Granted, a lot of heroes would be outmatched or easily killed by a predator, especially during an ambush.

Natasha Romanov? Hawkeye? Still mehums with extreme training.

Because Ahnold wasn't exceptional?

If you're looking to completely depowered humans, and a commando and a cop have already taken down Predators, even Yajirobe and Hercule could body a Yautja 1v1.

Seems unlikely. And it took a ton for that commando to beat a predator and, by the way, you're forgetting *all* of the commandos who got slaughtered by the predator. Likewise, a lot of cops were killed by the second predator... and even the hero-cop would have been killed several times but the predator chose to wait.

Predators barely rank above trash mobs for anyone with noteworthy ability. Even a pissed off Lucius Fox or Alfred Pennyworth has decent odds of taking out a Predator.

For starters, many of the predators seen on film or comics are on earlier hunts and are thus inexperienced. Second, and more importantly, they're physically superior to humans and armed with incredible tech, but it's not like they're immune to conventional weapons. The fact that somebody *can* beat them doesn't make them weak, particularly when within the same work they generally kill many other humans. It's like pointing out that Michael Myers was beaten by a teenage girl. Sure, that's true, but he killed many grown men before that happened.

As for Alfred specifically, he's often written as being ex-special forces, so he's generally capable.
