Coronavirus? Obama didn't tell him what to do. Therefore trump is absolved of responsibility. How dare Obama! (Actuslly there were pandemic briefings in the transition and the trump administration didn't take them seriously).

Again, there's only so much that can be done at the executive level. Some of the biggest things a president can do is distribute the national supply of PPE (which we didn't have any more), close all international travel (something he had gotten pushback on repeatedly), and use the wartime act to manufacture necessary goods (which he did). A lot of the rest comes down to governors and congress. Trump's stimulus plans can't be passed via executive order -- and a lot of far-left progressives voted against some of those measures for petty political posturing (AoC, for example, who then no-showed her primary debate (shit she complained about her predecessor doing) on top of everything else). Likewise, he can't issue state lockdowns and a lot of other stuff that requires state leadership. However, he was reckless to suggest it considering the immense damage it's done to the economy while -- as the fact that protests showed us -- having no genuine benefit, although Obama, GWB, Clinton, and GHWB probably would have done the same.

You mean would the leftists criticizing Trump praise Obama for doing the exact same thing? Almost certainly. And it's funny that you bring up Obama relating to Trump on a specific issue when Obama and leftists in general spent 8 years blaming GWB for everything he failed to do (while simultaneously criticizing Trump right almost as soon as he elected for things Obama had solely done).
