| ParanoidObsessive 07/07/20 1:30:41 AM #3: | Someone I know used to rent property to Section 8 rentees (basically, the people who can't afford to pay their own rent for various reasons, so the government supports them). He said they were the best tenants he had, because they rarely made much fuss, and he never had to worry about the government checks not coming on time or not cashing. While the people paying with their own money tended to be bigger assholes about maintenance issues, and he'd occasionally have to dog them a bit for rent if they were late. There will always be horror stories (and the horror stories will always be the ones you're most likely to hear because they're the ones people are most inclined to rant about), but there's certainly money to be made if you own extra property and are willing to put in the extra effort to keep the cash flowing. --- "Wall of Text'D!" --- oldskoolplayr76 "POwned again." --- blight family ...
