The gym was extremely sparsely populated and we all kept out distance from one another. We might as well not even have been in the same room. By this argument, I shouldn't be able to be in my house because my neighbors are on the other side of the wall. The closest I came to anyone was when I went to the paper towel dispensers to wipe things down. I don't disagree with you in general. I think it's ridiculous that we can't get the virus under control. I will wear a mask literally anywhere else, had been remaining at home except when necessary (beyond using a running trail near my house,) and was extremely annoyed at my sister for hosting a 4th of July party with like 20 people there. When the gym opened last week, I was willing to make a slight exception for the sake of my mental health and well-being. My depression kept me on the couch for the last three days, and all I wanted when I woke up this morning was to go the gym, get a good workout, and wash all of that away.
