The sound of the Evo version doesn't feel like it fits as well, and the percussion feels like its being drowned out by a wall of sound at times, and the cool bell-esque synth is just gone. Evo version has slightly better instrumentation but it doesn't help much. Or maybe it's just that the more muted sound of the instruments is better for the vibe the song is going for. ------------------------------------------------------------- Both versions of the song feel somewhat bland They try to sound mysterious, but just come off as 'generic mysterious VGM that you've heard in dozens of other games'. My overall opinion towards the songs is slightly positive because they're good enough that I know what the artist was going for, but neither of them are things I'd likely listen to for fun. --- You shine, and make others shine just by being near them. ...
