Two very different takes on the same song! The original is a traditional battle theme with a distinctive piano bassline, while the remake slows things down for a more dramatic flair with big orchestral sounds, but it doesn't really fit the song and sounds more like an important plot cutscene. Good thing the soulful electric bass redeems it!

The original version tries too hard to be intense and comes off incredibly boring as a result. I'm not sure the Evolution Version tried to do anything other than "be different", somehow finding a way of making the song sound quite different while only making it a bit more dull

Feelings Crushed is a two-part song that has this 30-second intro, full stop, and then re-enters with a different variation that plays the majority of the track. Evo had the right idea of making the intro a bit bolder, but fails to stick the landing. In the main song, the OG is a sad, somber filler track. Evo keeps the clarinet that plays the main melodic line, but adds a couple parts that make it a smidge more interesting.
