I'm not eagerly looking forward to my commute like with a Cosmere or an Ender, but I'm not debating pitching it like later GRRM or the middle of WoT. Was kinda hoping it would land a bit higher on the scale since Lackey is one of the few fantasy authors I've actually heard of, and it still might because we're pretty early on. But I do get pretty salty over character deaths sometimes, and our apparent villain is....an archetype I would enjoy a lot more if it wasn't 2020.
