Just look at Jeb Bush. And criticism clearly can be fuel. Obama's jokes at that correspondents' dinner certainly may have given Trump additional incentive to finally run for president after being on the fence for decades. And keep in mind that shrinking violets don't have the emotional strength to run companies (or just about anything else), so anybody who folds under criticism wouldn't be in the upper echelons of business or politics. --- (\/)(\/)|-| ...
