first one i've ranked and we're off on a pretty high note! this is def reminding me of something but i can't place it right now. dark ambience is a thing i really enjoy in music--wonder if this would be improved or not by removing the lead parts

It's menacing for sure, but this track doesn't really interest me, especially when compared to other sonds sharing its leitmotif like The Enforcers or Fateful Confrontation. It just doesn't do anything to make me care too much. Meanwhile, what the fuck is going on with the Evo version? The added (is that a triangle?) triangle iis slightly offkey for no reason, and overall there's just more sounds than the original, effectively drowning out the listener with tons of music. It's more memorable than the original for sure, but I can't really call it better.

original version is just a bit cooler to me; i like SC's overall sound and this is an example of it. not a horrible evo remake though, it has its merits in being more intense, ]more metallic and heavy
