On a more hopeful note, Blizzard's old CEO has opened up a new game company that wants to empower creators, with many other old Blizzard vets joining him. He's been described as the anti-CEO, someone who prioritizes customer and employee happiness over that of the shareholders. The company is called Dreamhaven, with two smaller studios called Secret Door and Moonshot. I hope they succeed, because the end of creativity is really the only thing I fear.
