| PrivateBiscuit1 10/25/20 12:11:15 PM #274: | DAY 24: Bad Hair On Hulu This movie came out a couple days ago and it's actually really a really strong African American horror movie. Bad Hair is about a girl in the 80's who works at a music video company and after a bad hair accident, she is afraid to do anything nice with her hair. So her new boss tells her to get a new hair weave if she wants to go places in the company. But she soon discovers her new weave is cursed! You're probably thinking that this premise sounds ridiculous, and it is. This comes across as a more horror with comedy elements thrown in. For the most part, the horror in this movie is on point. Absolutely chilling visuals. It's a campy story at times, but I never felt the pacing was ever off. It was a really interesting look at a sort of era and profession. It makes for a compelling story, even if it gets absurd at times. I never felt bored, it was fun, and I think it's definitely worth a watch. Rating: 7/10 --- I stream sometimes.
