A couple finds an alien child crash landed by their farmhouse and proceed to raise him as their own. Eventually, he begins acting strangely and then... well, you can probably figure it out from there. This movie is actually freaking terrifying. A child Superman with powers to do whatever he wants with the mentality of a child is chilling, and this movie does everything effective with it. This movie is done so well, and you can even check out the trailer for that if you don't want to take my word for it. Brightburn does such an effective job and the story is gripping all until the very end. It's honestly incredible how well-done this movie is and I was shocked it was so good.
