Bernie Sanders might have been a Socialist, but he never spoke a word about it, and it definitely wasn't part of his campaign. The only country in Europe that could be considered Socialist, is none of them, but in Germany they have worker owned coops, which is when workers are mandated to own 20% or so of the company they work for. Americans are generally considered to not know what Socialism means, especially the Socialists.
