Topic	What is the most frivolous thing you've ever purchased?

I was in a perfectly livable situation previously, albeit I was essentially subletting a room from someone, but the amount of money I spent on the house itself, furnishing it, and then dealing with all the repairs and other bullshit over the last year makes me wonder why I ever thought this was a good idea.
