A black American woman who is clearly not very bright has a baby girl. The nurse asks her what the girl's name is. She looks at the nurse's clipboard and goes "VAJ-juh-na! What a pretty sounding name." And so her daughter was named Vagina.
You can't tell me that girl won't get made fun of. So yeah, I'm all on-board with the policing of names. Especially after the inane things people name their characters in MMO's, which granted is not nearly as serious an environment as The Real World, but has at least left me with the notion of "all names must be name-like."
