Not sure which version it was from but it might be this one because they all had beast themes as opposed to dinosaurs... but I remember an episode where the monster would copy their powers and beat the shit out of them. It was pretty badass. They then figured out to use each other's beast powers instead of their own, confusing and ulyimately defeating the monster. By that point, I kinda felt like power rangers had become generic and overly formulaic but I thought that was pretty clever.
