Not only does it do a great job of filling in a lot of blanks for early RE lore, it works as a great horror story on its own and really gives a lot for your imagination to chew on with vivid imagery and fantastic character development, especially as Wesker & Birkins relationship developments over the course of years. Theres a real sense of conspiracy and unbridled nastiness to the whole narrative, which will be important tenents to early RE storytelling going forward. I recommend listening to the reports for an immersive experience, narrated by the real-life Wesker, D.C. Douglas. --- I've decided to put my fears behind me.
