Rebecca Chambers is the only character to get bitten by a T-Virus infected creature in a canon cutscene and not get infected with the virus. We see Richard get bit by Yawn in Umbrella Chronicles! He got poisoned, sure, but never showed any T-Virus symptoms. In Chris' route he even recovers enough to make it all the way to the aqua ring by himself, so he was definitely feeling okay.
