That doesn't mean they shouldn't do it, but without simultaneously passing comprehensive reforms around the way the financing of higher education operates it is a temporary fix at best. If your reason for not wanting college debt-relief and college financing reform is because you paid your debt already and it isn't fair then you are just short-sighted and selfish. It's like being an escaped slave in the 1800s being against ending slavery because you already got out and it isn't fair to you that you had to be a slave. --- *Gheb is my other account* ...
