I'm studying to be a social worker, and I'm cis myself so I don't have my own experiences to know anything about this. Learning as much as we can from an outsider's perspective in order to serve our clients is one of our core tenents. I've just seen some resentment towards the "passing" label since it can invalidate those who don't, can't, or don't want to, so I wasn't sure if it's a concept that should be avoided entirely or if there are better ways to discuss it. --- ...
