Ah, I've kinda missed the dubstep wave. I like DnB and most dance music just fine, but something about the dubstep I've heard just hasn't quite flicked that switch for me. I'm really a bit like that with pop too - some of it I like, but the rest just doesn't click. Small aside - the best act I've ever seen live was Why? back in 2008. Just a small intimate show with about 40-50 people, and some of their best material with a more pronounced rock element. Had the chance to go to many small shows? I've only been to a few, but I've really loved them.
Well it sounds like you're conquering that addiction at least! I got a beta key for 2 recently and had to immediately give it away so I wouldn't sink hours into it. WoW got its pointy like teeth into me though - you're smart to avoid it if you get like that with games. A good friend got me to start playing it with her a couple years ago, but I honestly think she just wanted someone else to suffer that particular addiction with her.
Oh, MTG? A friend of mine got really into it when I was in highschool, but the price ended up putting me off. I imagine top-end decks would be quite expensive to put together, but does it cost you a lot to remain competitive?
Ironically school has made me post on Board 8 more - it's just that right level of time-sink. Though, as the semester goes on I'm sure it's a habit I'll have to break. Ugh, I forgot that's what you were studying. A friend of mine started it, but the workload proved just too much. You must be getting pretty close to the end now, yeah?
