Even if you're correct that it was a bad idea, so what? Since when do humans need to act optimally like machines at all times instead of doing what they want to do? Smoking, drinking, overeating, promiscuity, etc. are all "bad ideas" but we don't try to force people not to do them as long as they're adults.

How on earth can you expect anyone to take you seriously when you throw out insane ideas like this so detached from reality that a child would laugh at them?

Smoking, drinking, overeating, etc. are always called for being stupid things to do as well. The only point you are proving is that people that do these things are stupid and it would be best if we were allowed to kick people in the junk as hard as we can every time we saw them doing these kinds of things.
