For me its cause I wouldn't want them doing it in my place. My mother has offered to help clean my bedroom several times (the only place I am a bit of a slob in) and I always refuse. Had to clean the whole house the other day which wasnt bad cept my room. I was offered help cause I had a broke hand but I'm stubborn.
