It's a stand alone that has some characters from the first reprising their role as their characters but there is no continuity between Suicide Squad and The Suicide Squad. DC has a multiverse, so lets say the first was Earth 1 and this one is Earth Prime. helIy posted... don't use piratebay yeah much better places to get it from theses days, plenty of streaming options too, especially if you are a Prime Wire for entertainment.
