I work with a lot of small businesses of various sizes and fields and they all struggle with manpower right now. One guy was offering $30/hr to do flooring and couldnt get help. Flooring actually takes skill and sometimes certification depending on local laws and building codes because the guys who do it can be held liable if they do a shitty job. It's not as simple as nail wood to ground. Truth is we've had skilled labor shortages for a while because of the stigma associated with those jobs. Truck drivers in particular are seen as a shitty desperate job. In fact you need a lot of training, skills, and they're extremely difficult jobs.
