You're the one basically making a big deal of this, everyone else knows Rem is better than Minwu because every veteran in game knows how overpowered ATB speed boosting syncs are.

But if Minwu is capping on entry then he's basically hit a celling while stuff like enmpower magicte shards and potential future stuff like more record boards, hero artifacts or 7* motes or magicite will close the gap on entry damage.

While I don't have a r8 Minwu awakening, I do have an r7 Alphinaud Awakening, he has the same speed stat as Minwu and that's close enough. I raced them in the Stroke of the Brush since it gives you 2 bars at the start and Alph's awakening only beat Rem sync by this much



Yeah, major difference there

She still reached Turn 3 quicker than Alph did with just Mog Awakening 1 as quickcast, and here's Rem at turn 2



With Allegro con Moto and Mog glint+ she near instant casts her sync command

So yeah, you're really overexaggerating about the ranked awakening cast time and dualcasts making that much of a difference, or you're overlooking that Rem has a 17 speed stat advantage over Minwu. I doubt a scroll is going to make up for that much turn 3 ATB bar gap.
