As for it only being 50 entries, I get what you're saying that it would end on or close to Halloween, but a lot of people seems to want it, and cutting down the number of nominations just would be ideal. I could cut the entries at 100 though. Monsters would be deemed as pretty much what you'd expect. Monsters, vampires, werewolves, demons, ghosts, etc. anything spooky/horror related. Unless of course there's objections to that that you feel should be restricted.
