As someone mentioned, China out of no where really loved it compared to most marvel movies Venom pre MCU probably was the 3rd or 4th most popular marvel character. Spidey and wolverine were 1 and 2, 3 was hulk or venom. Tom Hardy is a popular guy. People want to see him like they want to see Jason Momoa as aquaman. The movie wasn't good but the starved venom fanbase got the venom they wanted (venom/eddy brocm the characters were done well even if the rest was trash) ... Copied to Clipboard! |
